AJ = Alan Jenkins

This was taken in Norway

Alan played guitar (and sometimes sang) on all the albums by The Deep Freeze Mice, The Chrysanthemums, Ruth's Refrigerator, The Creams and The Thurston Lava Tube. He ran the Cordelia Records recording studio until 2009 when he moved to Suffolk and invented Experimental Surf Music.
SL = Sherree Lawrence Sherree is reading a book in almost every picture ever taken of her. Sherree played organ (and sometimes sang) on 10 albums by The Deep Freeze Mice between 1979 and 1989. Now she's married with a son and a daughter, lives in Cheshire and likes cats and reading.
MB = Mick Bunnage

Mick working on the Vegetable Braille fanzine in 1982.

Mick played bass on all the Deep Freeze Mice albums except the first one - and he designed the front covers of the last 3 Mice albums andThe Chrysanthemums' "Odessey & Oracle" album. He's a journalist and cartoonist. In the 90's he helped launch Loaded magazine (he was Dr. Mick) and he's currently working on the Modern Toss magazine and TV series on Channel 4.

On stage at the Princess Charlotte, Leicester in about 1982, before it had a roof. Graham played drums on the first 3 Deep Freeze Mice Albums. He lives in Leicester and plays in a folk band called Jeweller's Eye.
PG = Peter Gregory
Recording the "Hang on Constance" album - 1985 Peter Gregory played drums on all the Deep Freeze Mice albums after Graham left the band. He was in this band not so long ago.
YY = Yukio Yung

From one of the first ever Chrysanthemums pictures from 1987.

Yukio played on all The Chrysanthemums' albums. He did most of the singing and keyboard playing and wrote half the songs. He's also recorded a lot of music as half of Push Button Pleasure, all of The Jung Analysts, most of Chris & The Mums and in collaboration with Asmus Tietchens under his real name (Terry Burrows). He also uses that one for writing books - notably about guitars and how to play them - look him up on Amazon. He has a dog and a son called Louis. His latest project is called Tonesucker.
VZ = Vladimir Zajkoweicz
Vlad in Acton in 1987. That's Alan in the background. Vladimir played bass on 3 Chrysanthemums' albums and 3 Creams' albums. Before that he was one half of a band from Ipswich called Loch Ness Monster. He lives in Brighton and has two daughters called Lauren and Nico. (That's the Nico that gave her name to one of The Creams' albums).
JL = Johnny Lemon

On stage with the Chrysanthemums in 1991

Lemon played organ and sang on the live Chrysanthemums' album from 1991- and he made guest appearances on other Chrysanthemums and Creams records. Back in the 80's he was one half of a band from Brighton called Jesus Couldn't Drum and he played ukelele with The Little Green Hondas. There's a lot about it on his web site. He became a US citizen in the 90's, works as a cartoonist and lives in San Francisco.
RG = Robyn Gibson

The entrance to "the little green house" - Hamburg 1997.

Robyn changed his name from "Robin" in honour of his hero, Robyn Hitchcock. He played drums, sang and occasionally played guitar on 2 Ruth's Refrigerator albums, 1 Chrysanthemums album and 6 Creams albums. He was also a member of The Ammonites, The Calender Dream, a mod band called Immediate,and Ambrose Tompkins. He's married to Alison Mackinder (see below) and they have two children called George and (damn I've forgotten what his new daughter's called again).
RM = Ruth Miller

Ruth sang and played guitar on 2 Ruth's Refrigerator albums. She was also the main member of a band called Po! for a long time. She's was married to Terri Lowe (see below) until recently and has two children. She works as a deputy headmistress these days.

She can't really surf. Blodwyn played organ, other keyboards, and sometimes accordian and theramin on 2 Ruth's Refrigerator albums, 8 Creams' albums and 4 Thurston Lava Tube albums. She also played some kind of weird percussion instruments with a samba band. Here is an interesting video about her organs. She married Alan Jenkins in 2001 and divorced him in 2006. Wouldn't you?
TL = Terri Lowe Rags with a Popinjay's shirt on. Terri played bass and sang on 2 Ruth's Refrigerator albums. He also played guitar with Po! Everyone calls him Rags but his real name is Colin.

JP = Johnny Pacino Johnny at a TLT recording session, probably 2002. Johnny played bass on the first 2 Thurston Lava Tube albums. He's been in a few other bands in Leicester. There was one called Fur Bricks for example. Johnny knows everything about tanks. (Update: he recently told me he didn't actually know everything about tanks)
